FORMAL LIVING ROOM FURNITURE ARRANGEMENT
You can go with a formal, more classic arrangement of your furniture with two chairs facing the sofa, parallel to each other, and a small table in between, which makes for a balanced look that has depth.

If your living room is rather big you can add extra seating to delineate the space, like stools, chaises, and daybeds. Consider carving out a reading nook in a corner with an armchair and an ottoman. Or bring in a small table and two chairs that you can use for writing, playing games or dinner for two.
SOMETHING IN BETWEEN
Similar to the previous one, this living room furniture arrangement features two chairs facing the sofa but angled toward each other. This allows for a circular familial feel with no corners to bump into — great with a ground coffee table.

Pull furniture off the walls for a cozier feel. If walls are left bare, they can take a console with ottomans underneath and a mirror above, or a floor-to-ceiling art treatment. This will enrich your design and make it look even more amazing.
CASUAL ARRANGEMENT
For a more casual look, go with an L-shaped design. This gives everyone lots of space to stretch out, and sectionals are perfect for a laid-back look! Relaxed, inviting and the epitome of casual-chic, a low-lying arrangement can make a tight space feel bigger and low ceilings feel taller.

Use floor-hugging coffee and side tables, so the look feels consistent and it’s not awkward to grab a drink or switch on a light. The tables should line up with your sofa cushions (like in the photo above) or be about two inches below for a more clean look.
